About Us
Creating a City of Peace and Spiritual Renewal
Vision of the members of ' A Toi Marie '
To live and spread a Marian spirituality, through prayer, listening and spiritual development, in order to draw as many souls as possible closer to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
Their ultimate goal is to pray and work for the salvation of souls, and thus hasten the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the world, according to Virgin Mary’s promise at Fatima:
“In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”
Mission of the members of ' A Toi Marie '
- Listening
- Consecration
- Spiritual Development
The members of the ‘A Toi Marie’ Family commit together to welcome, support, listen to, and accompany each person in a spirit of love, fraternity, and respect.
Listening
“May no one suffer alone” is the mission of ‘A Toi Marie’. It is about listening with care and discretion to every person the Lord puts in their path.
This listening seeks to ease sorrow, bring reassurance, and offer peace in the face of the anxiety and uncertainty that mark our societies.
“Listening is one of the most beautiful expressions of love.”
The Sacrament of Reconciliation
Priests are present to offer the Lord’s forgiveness and blessing.
This great sacrament brings countless graces: reconciliation with God, with oneself, and with others; freedom and healing – and as a result, it restores peace, joy, and trust.
Consecration
In response to the call of the Lord Jesus and the Virgin Mary during their apparitions, inviting us to consecrate ourselves to their Hearts, the ‘A Toi Marie’ Family has composed prayers adapted to each person and every situation.
This act of surrender and trust allows us to offer our lives to Jesus through Mary, so that many souls may fully belong to Him and be placed under His protection.
“Whoever is totally consecrated to the Immaculate has already attained holiness.” – Saint Maximilian Kolbe
Spiritual Development
To know God is essential in order to love Him and believe in Him.
In times of trial, a strong spiritual foundation helps us discern wisely and overcome challenges.
Knowledge of the Word of God and the teachings of the Church is vital to nourish prayer and one’s personal relationship with God, to strengthen faith, to live out charity in harmony with the Gospel, and to guard us from the errors of the world.
The Name ' A Toi Marie '
The name ‘A Toi Marie’ is a movement of the heart, an act of filial consecration, a complete offering of our life and our whole being to the Virgin Mary.
‘A Toi Marie’ is a living stone, laid to build a city in her honor. This name, received in prayer, expresses the deep love of the Lebanese people, both Christians and Muslims, for the Blessed Virgin, venerated and honored since time immemorial as Mother and protector of all.
To live with Mary is to live in covenant with her, in the spirit of “Totus Tuus” of Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, adopted as a motto by Saint John Paul II: “I am all yours, Mary, and all I have is yours. O Mary, give me your Heart.”
It is a concrete commitment, a daily offering of one’s body and soul, joys and sorrows, family and country, so that everything in us and around us belongs to her, and she may present it all to God herself.
It is a path of union and transformation, where each soul is called to be reborn in the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Purified, strengthened, and guided by her to her Son Jesus, Divine Love, the soul, imbued with her purity and charity, becomes an instrument of peace, a channel of her love, and her outstretched hands to the world.
Meet the Founders
Sister Marie-Raymonde
Founder
A social worker by training, Sister Marie-Raymonde graduated from Saint Joseph University in Beirut in 1981. She led the social service department at the Collège des Frères des Écoles Chrétiennes, where she offered her love, support, and constant care to students, educators, and families.
Following her religious consecration in 1993, she pursued continuous training in theology and psychology. From 1997 to 2003, she served in Medjugorje, where she organized and accompanied pilgrimages for Arabic- and French-speaking pilgrims. On March 25, 2001, the Feast of the Annunciation, she launched, for the first time in Lebanon, a novena of prayer, fasting, and consecration.
This novena, now embraced in many countries, has become an annual gathering that bears abundant spiritual fruits. In 2004, during prayer, Sister Marie-Raymonde receives the inspiration to found the Marian ’Cité A Toi Marie’. She establishes its spiritual vision and designs its architecture, and continues to actively oversee its development to this day. Alongside this mission, she accompanies and teaches many individuals and groups, offering spiritual guidance and teaching.

What moves me most in ' A Toi Marie ', alongside Sister Marie-Raymonde, is this simple life deeply rooted in God, filled with the presence of Jesus, Mary, the Saints, and the Angels. Through this spirituality, I am learning to trust Jesus despite the trials, to savor the richness of daily Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. I experience the maternal love of the Virgin Mary, who watches over us and provides for all our needs. Filled with this deep joy, I wanted to share this divine love. With some friends, we created a prayer group inspired by Sister Marie-Raymonde’s teachings, and our children followed along in this spirit. I feel the urgency of this project and the importance of being spiritually accompanied on this path. I’m convinced that the Cité de Marie will bring peace and joy to those seeking true love and lasting happiness. “The deepest illness is the absence of God.” – Mgr Follo

“Put God first!”—that was the call I received through ' A Toi Marie '. It marked the beginning of my spiritual journey in Mary’s school. By inviting me into her family, Mary extended her rosary to me and taught me—through her example—how to give God the first place in my life. Through meditating on her unconditional “YES,” I’ve learned to let God guide my life. ‘A Toi Marie’ has also given me a spiritual language that shapes my daily life: faith, love, forgiveness, prayer, consecration, hope, adoration, trust, fidelity, surrender, joy, listening, silence, welcome, kindness, generosity, sacrifice, fasting, humility, prayerful union, intercession, providence, miracle... Treasures drawn from the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary—an infinite source of love!

‘A Toi Marie’ has taught me to live each day in hope, by surrendering to Mary’s maternal love. Through prayer, I discover a renewed trust that helps me face trials with peace and serenity, keeping my eyes fixed on what truly matters: the ultimate goal – eternal life.
