Cité A Toi Marie
A dream city for Mary
Where Heaven Touches Earth
Origins of
the Cité
On June 13, 2004, the Lord confirmed Sister Marie-Raymonde’s dream, which she shares with Saint Maximilian Kolbe: the creation of a Marian Cité in Lebanon.
A haven of peace and love, dedicated to Mary, radiating her presence and spirituality, where she leads all souls toward God. Saint Maximilian once said: “A City of the Immaculate must be founded in every nation, so that the Immaculate may act through the most modern means…”
In Lebanon, where Mary is deeply loved and venerated by both Christians and Muslims, she embodies a path of unity and remains the powerful and protective Mother of the Lebanese people, who invoke her day and night.
“Mary is the surest, easiest, shortest, and most perfect way to go to Jesus Christ.”
(cf. Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort)
After a long mission in Medjugorje, the members of the ’A Toi Marie’ Family feel called to care for souls and become instruments in Mary’s hands, “to enlighten minds and inflame hearts.”
Saint Maximilian Kolbe continues: “Through the Immaculate, our goal is to consecrate the entire world and every single soul to Mary and, through her, to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.”
In this spirit, they work to fulfill the promise of the Blessed Virgin at Fatima: “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”
Today, more than ever, Lebanon, the last Christian stronghold in the region, has an urgent need for a place of refuge, inspired by the village of Medjugorje, to strengthen the faith and hope of its people, and to help them rediscover true and lasting peace.
It is in response to this spiritual urgency that the Marian Cité takes root, offering to all:
- A compassionate and attentive listening ear, along with continuous access to the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
- Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the prayer of the Rosary.
- A silent and peaceful setting, far from the noise of the city, conducive to meditation and reflection, composed of natural spaces of beauty: a Way of the Cross, a Rosary path, and outdoor grottos for prayer to the Saints, Angels, and for the souls of the departed.
- Spiritual Development to deepen our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Savior, and with the Virgin Mary.
- Free access to the teachings of the Church, the study of the Holy Scripture, and spiritual, psychological, and human formation.
Since 1975, Lebanon has endured a series of conflicts, worsened by the 2024 war and an unprecedented economic crisis. This situation has deeply affected both the faith and the psychological well-being of its Lebanese people.
A troubling reality and alarming statistics reveal:
- High levels of anxiety among children and youth
- A high suicide rate (one suicide every 24 hours).
- Excessive dependence on antidepressants and anxiolytics
- A rise in addictions (drugs, alcohol, gambling)
- A sharp increase in divorce rates
- Loss of values driven by corruption and materialism
- Growing religious ignorance and a fascination with practices bordering on superstition
- Increasing isolation, fueled by lack, uncertainty, and a constant sense of fear and insecurity
In the face of such distress, a space for prayer, listening, encounter, sharing, and unconditional support has become a necessity. Not only to preserve and rekindle faith, but also to offer a refuge for wounded hearts, where each person can be heard, accompanied, and guided toward a renewed life, fruitful and filled with hope.
The ’A Toi Marie’ family is committed to building the most beautiful Cité in honor of the Virgin Mary: a sacred place of prayer and development, a haven of love where its members are always present to welcome, listen to, and love every soul in solitude or suffering.
Visitors experience, through Mary, the closeness of Heaven and the joy of belonging to a heavenly family, according to the tradition of our Lebanese ancestors.
This magnificent project unites natural beauty, deep love, and living spirituality, offering a welcoming, warm, and sacred space to preserve faith, rekindle hope, and strengthen love among its people.
The Five Main Objectives of the Cité
In love and discretion, following the example of Mary, members of ’A Toi Marie’ commit to comforting and uplifting those who feel alone, abandoned, or neglected. They help them overcome their struggles and begin a new life, made fruitful by the grace of the Holy Spirit.
Listening stations are distributed throughout the Cité, ensuring a continuous presence.
Mass, Eucharistic adoration, and the rosary are open to all and celebrated continuously. The aim is to intercede on behalf of those who suffer, especially the sick, the youth, and struggling couples. This unceasing prayer paves the way for the miracles and healings our Lord wishes to accomplish.
A priest is always available to hear confessions and accompany each person on their spiritual journey. Through this sacrament, each person can be reconciled with God, with others, and with themselves, bringing lasting peace to their heart and to the world.
‘A Toi Marie’ offers and shares consecration prayers tailored to each person: personal prayer, for children, families, institutions, businesses, parishes, and countries... These prayers are available throughout the Cité, enabling each person to regularly consecrate themselves and fully offer their life to God.
Gatherings are also organized for solemn consecrations.
In a spirit of fellowship and warmth, ’A Toi Marie’ offers regular and personalized spiritual development to nourish souls, both spiritually and humanly. Numerous spaces are dedicated to deepening knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, Church teachings, Marian spirituality, the spiritual legacy of the Saints, and human and social sciences.
- An audiovisual museum equipped with cutting-edge technology
- An auditorium for spiritual development cycles held throughout the year
- Display boards featuring prayers and spiritual texts are distributed throughout the Cité.
The Cité is also open to groups, businesses, associations, and communities wishing to hold spiritual retreats, ongoing formation, or organize activities within its premises.
The Heart of Mary
A Refuge of Love and Hope for a New Life
At the center of the Cité, on the beautiful green mountain, stands the Heart of Mary, a masterpiece inspired by the Holy Virgin. It is a maternal refuge for anyone who desires to love her, pray to her, open their heart to her, and consecrate themselves, through a complete act of offering, to her Immaculate Heart.
A Place of Encounter and Dialogue
with Our Mother
At the top of the Heart stands a beautiful statue of our Mother with open arms.
She watches over us lovingly and awaits us, ready to listen to our worries and intentions.
On either side, the two branches of the Heart extend like protective wings, where each person can find shelter, like a child reunited with their mother’s arms and tenderness.
To Be Reborn in Mary:
The Path of Consecration
Entering the Heart of Mary is learning to live with Mary and like Mary, imitating her virtues of faith, gentleness, and humility, and placing oneself under her protection.
To consecrate oneself to her Heart is to make a covenant with Mary.
It is to say “Yes” and enter “that great mold of God” shaped by the Holy Spirit, allowing oneself to be formed into the image of her Son Jesus.
It is to receive a new heart and be reborn in Mary for a new life.
All throughout the great Heart of Mary, consecration prayers are offered, tailored to each person and situation.
The Heart of Mary awaits you:
to listen to you, uplift you, and guide you to God
“My Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”
(Message of the Virgin Mary to Venerable Sister Lucia)
“Dear children, today I urge you to consecrate yourselves to my Heart and to the Heart of my Son Jesus. Only in this way will you truly belong to Me more and more each day. Thus, joy will reign in your hearts, and you will be bearers of Peace and Love.”
– Mary of Medjugorje, May 25, 2004

A Work of Hope in Motion!
A Humanitarian Urgency
Lebanon is in dire need of a place that can bring comfort, peace, and healing to the emotional and psychological wounds of its people.
Blessing and Laying of the Foundation Stone
On July 10, 2024, under the gaze of our Heavenly Father and in the presence of Mary, Mgr Antoine N. Andari blessed the land and laid the first stone of the ’Cité A Toi Marie’. This sacred moment took place in the presence of the ’A Toi Marie’ family and friends. This symbolic act marks the beginning of a project rooted in faith and charity, one that is set to become a haven of peace and healing for Lebanon.
